Life Strategies, LLC is a growing behavioral health agency accredited by the Autism Commission on Quality (ACQ). We are seeking a Behavior Consultant to join our team and provide behavioral support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and other behavioral health needs.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced clinician or a new Master's graduate looking to build a career in behavioral health. Training, ongoing support, professional development, and supervision for licensure are available.
What You'll Do
As a Behavior Consultant, you will provide community-based behavioral services through the Indiana Medicaid Waiver Program, working with individuals and their support teams in homes, community settings, day programs, and workplaces.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct behavioral assessments, observations, and functional assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Provide behavioral consultation to individuals, caregivers, families, and direct support staff
- Train caregivers and staff on behavior strategies, skill development, and implementation of behavior plans
- Monitor client progress and make recommendations based on behavioral data
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and other service providers
- Support individuals in developing functional, social, communication, and daily living skills
- Travel to client homes, day programs, workplaces, and community settings
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
- Ability to meet Indiana Medicaid Waiver provider requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug screening
- Negative TB test
