School: Hamadeh Educational Services
Location: Detroit, Dearborn Heights, Westland and Canton
Compensation: $40/hour
Program Dates: June 22 – July 22
Schedule: Monday – Wednesday, 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM, students 9 AM-1 PM
Pre-Program Meeting: Meeting in 2nd week of June (date TBD)
Deliver engaging and interactive STEAM instruction to students.
Follow curriculum guidelines, and scope and sequence created, maintain a structured and supportive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support.
Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure instructional consistency and quality.
Attend a mandatory meeting in June (exact date TBD).
Required:
A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university
OR
A passing score of 460 on the ETS Parapro Assessment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), databases, and social media platforms
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science or Arts in Education or related field
Valid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education
Meets Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
