Position Summary
- This position would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of café operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, inventory management, and some purchasing. This role requires excellence in customer service, operational discipline, and customer engagement. This individual would work directly with the General Manager and Senior Kitchen Manager to continue to develop and mentor leadership and contribute to strengthening the work culture.
Some of the requirements
- Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Rhode Island Food Safety Manager Certification paid by the company
- Hands-on experience operating professional espresso equipment, grinders, and brewing systems. Filling in for the occasional call out. If the store manager fills in on shift, they would receive tips.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule around major holidays and peek business. Tentative schedule: Shift 10-6:30 pm includes some weekend availability. Approximately 1-2 Pm shifts per week directly working in the café 3pm-10pm.
- Communicate professionally, clearly and effectively with team members and senior leadership to meet the standards of performance, accountability, and positive employee work culture.

We are a small business located on historical Federal Hill. Pastiche Fine Desserts has been in business for over 40 years. We are a fast paced scratch bakery that offers coffee drinks, whole desserts, and slices. We are a take out only.
Pay: $54,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
