Friendly and nationally recognized Interior Design firm specializing in model homes is looking for a full time designer to join our team!
Job duties include :
- Space planning
- Prepare presentations for bids
- Specification of interior finishes
- Selecting and ordering all furniture, art, lamps, bedding, draperies, and accessories
- Drapery work order knowledge and calculations preferred
- Computer knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
- Ability to prepare detailed CAD drawings of finish details and built-ins
Salaried position with benefits including medical and dental, paid time off, profit sharing plan and bonuses.
This is a very detailed position that requires a very organized person who is comfortable working within specific time frames, and capable of honoring budget restrictions as necessary. You will have weekly review meetings and clear direction. We work nationwide, so you’ll be traveling with us, oftentimes our trips span 5-10 days. You can expect 5-8 trips per year.
Design degree required and model home experience preferred; Salary range depends on experience level.
