Industrial Estimator
Nelpro Project Solutions is recruiting for an Industrial Estimator on behalf of an established mechanical contractor.
This position is responsible for preparing estimates for industrial mechanical construction projects involving shop fabrication and field installation.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Perform quantity takeoffs.
- Prepare labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor quotations.
- Estimate shop fabrication and field labor.
- Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers and operations during the estimating process.
- Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of estimating experience in industrial or mechanical construction.
- Experience estimating piping, structural steel, equipment setting, fabrication, or industrial maintenance projects.
- Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and construction specifications.
- Strong understanding of industrial construction methods and fabrication practices.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

Pay is based on experience.
