Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Maintenance to lead our facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across multiple properties. Your leadership will ensure all facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with safety regulations while managing projects and maintenance repair procedures with precision and enthusiasm.
Duties
- · Lead, mentor, coach, and supervise a team of 6–8 Maintenance Technicians.
· Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional guest service.
· Conduct regular department meetings and individual coaching sessions.
· Hire, train, develop, and evaluate maintenance personnel.
· Schedule staff to provide adequate daily, weekend, holiday, and emergency maintenance coverage.
· Monitor employee productivity and address performance issues promptly.
· Ensure technicians maintain professional appearance, clean company vehicles, and positive interactions with guests and homeowners.
· Foster a safety-first culture by enforcing company policies and safe work practices.
Skills
- Oversee all maintenance activities for a portfolio of luxury vacation rental homes and private homes
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), plumbing system maintenance, and general maintenance.
- Proficiency in using software for work order tracking and preventative maintenance planning. Prior experience with Streamline or Breezeway management software a plus
- Monthly Owner Reports - ensure each property owner receive a comprehensive monthly maintenance report.
- Organize and perform Preventative Maintenance Program
- Guest and Owner Service toe ensure maintenance services support an exceptional guest experience.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
