We are seeking a motivated and skilled Appliance Repair Technician Subcontractor to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced technicians to operate as independent subcontractors, earning a competitive 35% commission on each completed repair. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of household appliances, ensuring customer satisfaction through expert service and professional conduct. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using schematics, electrical experience, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, and more, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Install new appliances and upgrade existing systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams to guide repair procedures accurately.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting in field service settings, ensuring timely resolution of issues to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Operate company vehicles such as box trucks or similar to transport tools and appliances safely to customer locations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair, service technician roles, or related field service positions.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical work, plumbing, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read schematics and ladder diagrams effectively for troubleshooting purposes.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices within residential or commercial environments.
- Car, Truck or Van
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Knowledge of appliance installation procedures and equipment repair processes.
