Resch's Bakery is a family business in Columbus Ohio. We are growing with a new location opening in Gahanna this summer. Our goal is to provide quality baked goods. We are not only a professional organization, but established for over 100 years. You can count on us as we will count on you. Dependability, Enthusiasm, and ability to get along with others is key.
About us
Currently the 5th and 6th generations are working along beside those continuing in the tradition of making quality products that our customers have grown to depend on. Our customers have been coming since they were children with their grand parents. We are not only a sucessful business but an establishment full of memories and the sweet aroma of not only the past but of the future and new evolving trends.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including donuts, dinner rolls, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper cooking
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a baker in a catering or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt them as needed
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays or equipment
- Creativity and artistic skills for decorating baked goods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
