Duties
- Greet patients warmly and provide outstanding customer service at the front desk, ensuring a positive first impression
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently using dentrix software .
- Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing .
- Manage patient intake forms, update medical records, and review documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and scheduling follow-ups
- Maintain organized filing of dental records, medical charts, and correspondence in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with insurance verification, billing procedures, and collection of payments to support accurate financial documentation
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic or medical office is required.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and dentla billing is a must.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite; typing skills including 10-key typing for data entry are essential
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on patient service and phone etiquette; bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Knowledge of insurance processes including verification.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $24.32 - $29.29 per hour
