JOB Under general supervision, the incumbent must exercise reasonable initiative and independent judgement in ensuring that timely, efficient, and effective services are provided to departments, selecting work methods, and performing assigned tasks. Work is reviewed through oral and written reports, discussion, and results obtained. This position provides essential accounting support by reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing reconciliations, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports and special projects. This role is responsible for monitoring funding sources, preparing schedules for external audits, and supporting grant and cash management activities. Reviews and analyzes accounts and prepares reconciliations of various funds and accounts.

Monitors and maintains spreadsheets related to funding sources budgeted and transferred.

Assists in the preparation of and completion of a variety of accounting and financial reports or projects, including special projects.

Prepares and maintains records associated with various cash management and grant management activities.

Prepares schedules and reports for the external auditors.

Assists with projecting revenues and expenditures for budget.

Assists with preparation of financial trend analysis.
