Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, dealership experience, and excellent communication skills. This role involves engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Multilingual abilities and familiarity with automotive repair or dealership operations are highly desirable to effectively serve diverse clientele.
Duties
- Greet customers professionally and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs
- Manage point-of-sale transactions using POS systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and order fulfillment
- Provide detailed product information, including automotive parts or services, leveraging marketing and sales management skills
- Maintain organized records of sales activities using tools like Microsoft Excel and CMMS software when applicable
- Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close sales effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Follow up with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and foster repeat business
- Assist in maintaining the showroom or service area, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Support marketing efforts by promoting products or services through various channels, including phone etiquette and direct communication
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and improve overall store performance
Skills
- Proven experience in dealership sales, retail sales, or automotive repair environments
- Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Excel, CMMS software, and general order fulfillment processes
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to negotiate effectively and handle cash transactions accurately
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of automotive parts, maintenance procedures, and marketing strategies is advantageous
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Math skills necessary for calculating discounts, payments, and inventory management
- Experience in sales management or marketing initiatives is beneficial
