Job Overview:
We are a small, growing company specializing in high-quality loose leaf teas and herbal wellness products. We’re looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Representatives to join our team at local farmers markets. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with people, has an interest in wellness, and thrives in a fast-paced, outdoor sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly, approachable manner
- Educate customers on our loose leaf teas, herbs, and their wellness benefits
- Listen to customer needs and wellness goals to recommend appropriate products
- Drive sales by confidently presenting products and closing transactions
- Upsell and suggest complementary products to enhance the customer experience
- Build relationships with new and returning customers
- Set up, maintain, and break down booth displays in an organized and appealing way
- Handle cash and digital transactions accurately
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
- Interest in tea, herbs, and holistic wellness is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
