Shift: Part-Time | 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM or 11:30AM to 8PM
Salary: $16.50 per hour
Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Cook to bring warmth, flavor, and nutrition to our residents’ daily meals. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their cooking skills, enjoys working in a team, and finds fulfillment in serving others.
Prepare delicious, well-balanced meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
Follow standardized recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Collaborate with the dietary team to assist with menu planning.
Monitor inventory levels and help restock supplies as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
At least 1 year of professional cooking experience (healthcare setting preferred).
Prior experience in a dietary role within a nursing home, hospital, or similar environment (preferred).
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and batch cooking practices.
Culinary training or long-term care experience (a plus).
Strong team player with a passion for serving others.
