Position Summary
The Production Supervisor / Scheduler serves as the operational hub of our 46,000 sq ft Charlotte manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for owning the day-to-day production schedule, coordinating priorities with Project Managers, and ensuring every project moves efficiently through the shop while maintaining Atlantic Caseworks' standards for quality and craftsmanship.
Unlike a traditional office-based scheduling position, this is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role. Approximately 80% of the day is spent on the production floor monitoring workflow, resolving bottlenecks, supporting production teams, verifying quality, and ensuring schedules are being achieved. The remaining time is spent maintaining and owning our advanced proprietary production scheduling system, updating job status, and coordinating priorities with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, and other internal departments.
Success in this position requires someone who always knows where every project is in the manufacturing process, anticipates problems before they impact delivery dates, and keeps production moving through clear communication, leadership, and daily follow-up.
