Mechanical Engineer (Built, Not Just Schooled)
We’re not looking for the most degrees on a résumé.
We're looking for someone who's been taking things apart and putting them back together better for as long as they can remember.
If that’s you, keep reading.
If not…this probably isn’t the role for you.
Don’t apply if:
- You’ve never turned a wrench on your own car—or someone else’s.
- You’ve never taken something apart just to see how it works.
- You think racing is just “cars going in circles.”
- You prefer theory over getting your hands dirty.
- You need perfect instructions before you start something.
- You’ve never built, modified, or fixed something with your own two hands.
Do apply if:
- You’ve got grease under your nails more often than not.
- You’ve worked on cars, race cars, equipment—or anything mechanical—because you wanted to.
- You understand that good engineering doesn’t just look good on paper—it works in the real world.
- You think about how something is built before you design it.
- You take pride in improving performance, safety, efficiency, and reliability.
- You’re the one people call when something breaks.
The Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in supporting the development and improvement of our products and processes.
You’ll design it—but you’ll also help build it, refine it, and make it work better in the real world.
What You’ll Do
- Design and create precise CAD models and technical drawings for new and existing products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, machining, welding, fabrication) to solve real-world challenges
- Document parts and assembly processes to ensure clarity and consistency in production
- Support hands-on fabrication, mechanical, and engineering projects as needed
- Analyze current manufacturing programs to improve workflow, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
- Lead implementation and operation of 3D scanning and other new technologies
- Apply knowledge of flow dynamics and practical manufacturing methods to improve performance and manufacturability
- Participate in product testing, troubleshooting, and continuous refinement
What Matters to Us
- Real-world mechanical instinct
- Common sense
- Hands-on experience
- Curiosity and problem-solving grit
Degrees are fine. Hands-on ability is better.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
- 3+ years in a design or mechanical engineering role (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Strong understanding of flow dynamics
- Hands-on manufacturing experience (this is not optional)
- Experience with 3D scanning technologies is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
Benefits
- Health Insurance
- 401K
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Paid Holidays
Why Join Us
- Work on real products that get built—not just designed
- Be part of a team that values practical thinking and execution
- Opportunity to lead projects and implement new technology
- A collaborative environment where your ideas actually matter
