Duties
- Sort incoming products using order picker tools and mechanical knowledge to ensure correct placement and organization
- Pack items securely following packaging guidelines to prevent damage during transit
- Load and unload shipments accurately, verifying quantities with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners
- Conduct quality control checks during picking & packing processes to maintain high standards of order fulfillment
- Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, ensuring timely sorting, testing, dispatch of orders and proper documentation
- Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean workspace
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience with familiarity in order picking, sorting, testing, packing, and stock management is highly preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanical aptitude or basic mechanical knowledge beneficial for handling equipment maintenance or troubleshooting
- Experience in shipping & receiving procedures along with quality control practices within a distribution setting
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience in warehouse operations is advantageous but not required
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
