Alabama Concrete Inc. is currently looking for a Local Class A Tanker Driver
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Class A Tanker Driver to join our team. As a Class A Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and transporting tanker trucks carrying materials needed for use at our Alabama Concrete plants. Your primary objective will be to ensure the timely and secure delivery of the assigned cargo while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Safe Operation of Tanker Truck: Operate a Class A commercial vehicle with a tanker trailer, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials.
*Loading and Unloading: Properly load and unload materials according to established procedures, ensuring compliance with weight distribution guidelines.
Route Planning: Plan and review routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries, considering factors such as traffic conditions, road closures, and potential hazards.
Compliance with Regulations: Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations.
Safety Procedures: Follow all safety protocols and company policies to mitigate risks associated with the transportation and handling of different materials.

- Huntsville, AL 35806: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- delivering fly ash: 2 years (Preferred)
- Tanker: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Class A CDL that is current? (Preferred)
- D.O.T. Health Card that is current? (Preferred)
