Job Summary: Scheduler and Receptionist
Principle Duties: Scheduling patients either from incoming phone calls, online submissions, referrals from other providers, or existing patients checking out from their visit.
Will be cross trained to check patients in, assist with billing and statements management.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. One year in a medical customer service position regardless of practice type. Must have basic Microsoft Office knowledge. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining a friendly demeanor and welcoming patients to the office.
Preferred Qualifications: Two years in customer service regardless of industry. One year experience as an administrator in a medical environment. Medical assistant experience in dermatology is a huge plus. Familiarity with Modernizing Medicine Practice Management software is also a huge plus.
