SEBA is in search of a Electrical Engineer for a remote position. This position includes periodic travel.
This person will provide expert level Electrical engineering support of US Shipboard equipments including ship-service diesel engines, AC generators and DC Motors, Switchboard switchgear circuit control, Machinery Plant Control and Monitoring System (MPCMS), external weather deck kickpipe stuffing tube cabling system, buoy deck and compartmental LED Lightings, HVAC, Fire/ Flood Detections/ Alarms, Navigation lighting, Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) and Sea-Water Marine Prevention (Anti-Fouling) systems.
Significant experience with electrical schematic review and technical reporting is preferred.
Proficient knowledge of US Coast Guard Logistic Information Management System, Surface Technical Information Portal (CG-LIMS STIP); Surface Ship Logistic Center (SFLC) Central), Depot Level Engineering Specification Complier (DeSpecC), Joint Surface Engineering Change (EC) Process Guide and applicable Desk Guides.
Proficient knowledge of MS-Office Suite, engineering AUTO-CAD, PLC software applications and IBM-MVS/OS systems programming.
Comprehensive knowledge of Federal DOD FAR, DAR, Navy/ Coast Guard Military Standards and Specifications.
Electrical Engineering services shall hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher in electrical engineering from an educational institution's electrical engineering program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
