Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Preparation and review of monthly financial statements for the Company and affiliated entities.
2. Review financial statements of the Company and affiliated entities with owner.
3. Preparation of construction contract schedules for Company and affiliated entities.
4. Oversee the monthly job cost report process with owner and project managers for use in creating and updating contract schedules and updated work in progress reports for internal and external use.
5. As needed, meet with the Company’s bankers and bonding company to review financial results and forecasts.
6. Create operating budgets with owner and manage budgets to ensure fiscal health and responsibility of the Company and affiliated entities.
7. Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of accounts receivable progress billings, in conjunction with project managers, based upon specific contract terms.
8. Review accounts receivable aging reports and assist with collections efforts.
9. Supervise the payment process to vendors and subcontractors and confirm lien waivers are properly collected.
10. Monitor daily cash balances to ensure requirements are met.
11. Review and monitor the preparation of the weekly payroll.
12. Import payroll data to the accounting system and reconcile imported payroll data to the payroll records and bank account activity.
13. Monitor insurance and bonding requirements.
14. Prepare sales or use tax reports and payments.
15. Assist with the review of employee benefits offerings.
16. Administration of the Company’s 401(k) plan.
17. Manage IT related issues.
18. Perform special assignments as directed by Ownership.
19. Supervision of multiple accounting and administrative personnel.
20. Professional development of directly supervised employees to ensure their growth within the Company.
21. Responsible for the review and procurement of the business and health insurance programs for all entities
22. Maintenance of insurance/risk protection program
23. Participate in the on-going strategic planning with the company leadership team. Perform due diligence and create projections with different scenarios on growth opportunities as needed.
24. Prepare the annual financial budget and update the forecasts on a quarterly basis.

Qualifications-Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Commercial building construction means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications. Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents.
Qualifications-Computer Skills:
Extensive knowledge of Sage 300 business management software
Extensive knowledge of ProCore construction software
Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel and Outlook

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
