Position Summary
Nye Health Services is seeking experienced, highly adaptable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our exclusive Internal Float Pool team. This elite group of nurses provides clinical support across our skilled nursing campuses in Fremont, Louisville, and Lincoln, helping ensure exceptional resident care while supporting staffing needs throughout the organization.
This role is designed for experienced long-term care nurses who value flexibility, variety, and premium compensation while maintaining access to benefits and the support of a respected healthcare organization.

Minimum Qualifications
- Current Nebraska RN or LPN license in good standing
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing
- Demonstrated clinical competence and strong assessment skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different teams, workflows, and resident populations
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Fremont, Louisville, and Lincoln campuses
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available to work across all designated Nye Health Services skilled nursing campuses
- Scheduled month-to-month based on organizational staffing needs
- Ability to pick up additional shifts based on availability and organizational need
- Team members working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits in accordance with company policy
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, resident care plans, and regulatory requirements
- Perform assessments, medication administration, treatments, and documentation
- Respond effectively to changes in resident condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality resident outcomes
- Support resident, family, and team member communication
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations
- Adapt quickly to varying campus procedures and resident care needs
- Serve as a positive representative of Nye Health Services across all assigned locations
- Assist leadership teams in maintaining safe staffing levels and quality clinical outcomes
