As a Classroom Assistant, you will work alongside certified special education teachers to provide individualized support, encourage independence, and create a positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with implementing daily classroom activities and lessons.
- Support students with academic, communication, and life skills instruction.
- Help students with transitions, social interactions, and classroom routines.
- Assist with behavior support strategies under teacher supervision.
- Encourage student independence while providing appropriate assistance.
- Help prepare instructional materials and maintain an organized classroom.
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, community outings, and other activities.
- Maintain a safe, caring, and positive learning environment.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week

- High school or equivalent (Required)
