Wendy's in Florence (Target Shopping Center, Cox Creek Pkwy) is HIRING for Closers and Nightshift employees!
We have a variety of shifts and positions that we are looking to add. Our Night shift starts between 3p and 5p, and for closers, we leave around 1:45am. Pay for closers is usually higher than non closers because of the responsibility and the required reliability for that position!
We have part time and full time night shift positions available (and also dayshift positions as well). We are seeking candidates that are well groomed, know how to work well with team mates and can serve customers with a genuine smile! People with great charisma, good manners, people with energy and skills to help us more forward with building the trust and confidence with customers through consistent great service, please feel free to reach out! I want my team to be energized, happy, I want them to have fun while mnowing when to get serious for the customer! Duties
- Safely operate kitchen equipment and assist with food preparation to ensure quality standards are met during closing shifts
- Manage food service customer orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, bussing tables, and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling tasks, including packaging and storing leftover ingredients properly for safety and freshness
- Support retail sales transactions by upselling menu items or products to enhance customer experience and increase sales revenue
- Ensure all closing procedures are completed thoroughly, including securing cash registers, cleaning kitchen equipment, and organizing supplies for the next day
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments with a strong understanding of food safety management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy closing hours
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions even during busy or stressful moments
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing registers accurately
