Position Overview: Oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring a vibrant atmosphere, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily bar operations including opening and closing procedures, deep cleaning schedules.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff.
- Schedule shifts and manage staff performance.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment.
- Hold others accountable for their part of cleanliness and product prep.
Customer Service:
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Always maintain a demeanor with guests and employees that promotes the positive engaging spirit of Colchucks
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
- Develop and implement promotional activities to enhance customer engagement.
- Supervise closing/opening of restaurant.
Financial Management:
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and improve profitability.
Menu Development:
- Curate and update the drink menu, including seasonal and signature cocktails.
- Stay informed about industry trends and introduce innovative concepts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and bar operations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Certification in bartending or mixology preferred.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
