SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities within a food manufacturing environment. This includes managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fulfills inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Monitors inventory levels by identifying and resolving discrepancies and conducting regular cycle counts.

Maintains accurate records of stock movements using handheld scanning devices and updating warehouse management systems (WMS).

Ensures the production team maintains adequate supply levels on each product line.

Ensures compliance with food safety regulations Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, Good Manufacturing Practices, Federal Drug Administration (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA).

Collaborates with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to meet operational goals.

Oversees the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to meet hygiene standards.

Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in logistics/supply chain is a plus.

Minimum of (1) one year of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in food manufacturing.

Knowledge of food safety standards and warehouse best practices.

Must be familiar with inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite.
