Salary: $67,000 - $85,000/year

We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support process development, tooling design, and continuous improvement initiatives in a precision sheet metal fabrication environment. Responsibilities
- Manage engineering projects involving brackets, simple weldments, and basic assemblies
- Develop manufacturing processes, routings, work instructions, and tooling requirements
- Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and recommend improvements
- Design fixtures and tooling using CAD software
- Support production launches, first-article inspections, and process validation
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and ERP data
- Collaborate with production, planning, quality, and programming teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
- Support equipment commissioning and manufacturing process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 1-2 years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, including laser cutting, punching, and forming
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus
