Position Summary
Snelling Staffing is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, screening, and placing qualified candidates in temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for helping people find meaningful employment while supporting our clients' workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities

Recruit qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, community outreach, and other sourcing methods.

Review resumes, conduct phone and in-person interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and career goals.

Match candidates with client job opportunities based on experience, skills, and company culture.

Coordinate interviews between candidates and client companies.

Complete employment verifications, background checks, drug screenings, and reference checks as required.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Prepare candidates for interviews by providing detailed job information and coaching.

Extend job offers and manage the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork and orientation.

Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the employment lifecycle.

Follow up with placed employees and clients to ensure successful assignments and high satisfaction.

Meet recruiting, placement, and activity goals established by management.

Attend networking events, job fairs, and community events to attract top talent.

Collaborate with the sales and business development team to understand client hiring needs and staffing priorities.

Occasionally inside sales for new business

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies and procedures.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Previous recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or sales experience preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

Ability to prioritize multiple openings and work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Preferred Skills

Experience recruiting for manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, skilled trades, or professional positions.

Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
