This position is eligible to telework up to one (1) day a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. Under the administrative direction of the Deputy Director for the Office of Sustainability (OS), the Analyst IV position will be responsible for developing and implementing the deployment of clean energy for DGS and state facilities and operations. This position has a high-level of technical expertise in Renewable energy initiatives and will independently perform sensitive and complex duties with a high degree of responsibility and visibility as this position has the primary responsibility to lead state agencies' to transition to 100 percent renewable energy pursuant to SB 1020 through on-site generation and grid-based renewable energy strategies, develops, reviews, interprets, and coordinates revisions to departmental policies and procedures. The Analyst IV works independently on highly visible, sometimes confidential assignments, and requires discretion and professionalism working with executive level and upper management, external control agencies, and other entities.
This position is Limited Term (12 months); it may become permanent, be extended up to 24 months, or be cancelled at any time.
