Job Description:
We are looking to hire a seasoned, highly independent Senior Plumbing Estimator who can take a project from initial bid invite through final submission—without oversight.
This is a high-responsibility role for someone who knows the industry, understands the players, and can confidently manage the entire estimating process. If you are not experienced in full-cycle estimating, this is not the position for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the estimating process from initial bid invitation through final submission
- Develop accurate, competitive, and strategic plumbing estimates
- Perform detailed takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Review and respond to RFIs, addendums, and scope clarifications
- Prepare and submit complete, professional proposals on behalf of the company
- Handle all required MEP documentation with accuracy and efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors (GCs)
- Understand the competitive landscape and key industry players
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining profitability and win rate
- Seamlessly integrate into and follow internal company processes

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Plumbing Estimator (commercial experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and labor costing
- Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents
- Experience managing RFIs, addendums, and MEP-related documentation
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Requirements:
- Must be a seasoned estimator with the ability to run bids independently from start to finish
- Must provide recent, verifiable accomplishments, including awarded projects, bid success rates, or measurable cost-saving contributions
- Must be adaptable and able to follow established company systems and processes

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
