Our client, an American beauty manufacturer, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their location in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities for this position include preparing month-end billings and recording revenue in accordance with GAAP. Five years or more of general accounting experience is required for this position.
The Day-to-Day:
- Ensures integrity of accounting information by verifying and recording transactions.
- Prepare month-end COGS entries associated with products sold.
- Support month-end and year-end close, including management of tasks maintained in the closing checklist.
- Prepare month-end reconciliations, including subledgers to the general ledger.
- Review internal financial statements and investigate variances to forecasts.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting procedures and policies.
- Microsoft Dynamics Navision or comparable accounting software experience.
- Experience with data integration between systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel.
Pay Rate:
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
