Responsibilities:
- Repairing and maintaining fixtures, furniture, appliances, machinery, and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
- Performs some tasks in plumbing, electricity, and carpentry
- Installs new equipment, as directed.
- Performs routine

- Keeps management informed of activities, needs, and problems within the
- Participates in Care Facility and Department seminars and safety
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as Mechanic in a related field
- General mechanics knowledge in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical repair, refrigeration and HVAC required.
- FDNY Certificate of Fitness
Education:
- Vocational School training with courses in Blueprint reading
- High School Diploma/GED required
Compensation: $29.2877 per hour
