Rotair Aerospace Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Bridgeport, CT. This full-time, in-office position plays a critical role in supporting our purchasing operations by processing purchase orders, obtaining quotations, and helping ensure materials and services are available to meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create, process, and maintain Purchase Orders (POs) for materials, outside processing, supplies, and services.
- Prepare and distribute Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers and track vendor responses.
- Review vendor quotations and assist with sourcing activities to obtain competitive pricing and delivery schedules.
- Submit purchase orders through internal approval workflows and release approved orders to vendors.
- Obtain and maintain vendor acknowledgements and delivery commitments.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and outstanding requests.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation within the ERP system.
- Assist with vendor setup, supplier records, and purchasing-related data maintenance.
- Support the Purchasing Manager and Purchasing Department with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related experience required.
- Experience creating and processing Purchase Orders (POs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) required.
- Manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or technical purchasing experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance; available to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM on a consistent schedule

Compensation & Schedule:
- Full-time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Starting Hourly rate: $22.00 – $25.00 (based on experience)
