Job Description
The Manager of Infusion Pharmacy Home Care serves as the appointed Supervising Pharmacist for regulatory purposes. Also, responsible for the day-to-day activities and longer range planning at the pharmacy site. Is responsible to implement and maintain policies and procedures for pharmacy compounding, dispensing, packaging and distribution as well as pharmacy inventory control. Assures adequate and appropriate resources, including staff and medications/supplies. Ensures timely and accurate adjudication of pharmacy claims to maximize collection and minimize bad debts. Oversees pharmacy customer service functions to assure the highest level of customer service and patient experience. Manages functions to assure appropriate controls are in place to comply with regulatory and payer requirements. Works closely with VNA and system leadership to meet patient needs. Assures compliance with all NYS and Federal requirements for infusion pharmacy as well as compliance with accrediting and other regulatory body requirements.

Works closely with the Leadership to implement and maintain policies and procedures common to all pharmacy affiliates of Kaleida Health as well as appropriate site-specific policies/procedures when necessary to assure adequate and appropriate resources, including staff and medications/supplies. Responsible for implementing the site procedures for pharmacy dispensing, compounding, distribution and inventory control functions. Ensures timely and accurate adjudication of pharmacy claims to maximize collection and minimize bad debts. Responsible for direct supervision and evaluation of all staff at the site.
PHARMD - Doctor of Pharmacy required. Pharmacist licensure required upon hire.

Experience
2 years of experience in home Infusion or retail pharmacy setting preferred. 2 years of experience in Managing staff or functioning in a lead role preferred
2 years of experience in 1-2 years of infusion experience preferred.

Salary Range:$152,179 - $209,246
