- This is a physical job. You must be able to meet fitness for duty requirements including the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, crouch, kneel and work long hours, in various weather conditions.
- You must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and the ability to show up for work on time, every day.
Concrete Finisher Role Specific Requirements:
- Experienced, skilled, and knowledgeable in concrete flatwork, including hand-held and power tools (i.e.; power vibrators, polishers, cutting saws and edging tools). Demonstrated sufficient work experience as a concrete laborer or mason; 4 years recommended.
- Excellent workmanship: ability to review and redirect site work to ensure a quality project is being completed, including but not limited to dimensions, squareness, finish, etc.
- Expertly pour, level and smooth/finish concrete on a variety of surfaces including roads, sidewalks, curbs, patios, and more.
- Ability to set forms, patch existing surfaces, cut expansion joints and monitor the curing process to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Be familiar with the latest concrete pouring methods and technology, including various coloring, stamping and curing processes.
- Ability to assist in leading and directing the crew if/when the lead is called away.
- Ongoing on the site crew training.
- Timely, accurate completion of daily and other periodic paperwork / documentation as needed.
- Any other tasks/assignments as directed.
Concrete Finisher Pay Range:
All pay rates are dependent upon completion of a successful probationary period, skills and abilities candidate brings with them, and periodic skills and performance evaluations.
- This role can start at $27/hr, pending knowledge, skills, and abilities. The range for this role is $27-$38/hr.
