About This Role
Assistant teacher needed for a preschool classroom. We are looking for someone who is fun and energetic, while also responsible and detail oriented.
What You'll Do
Care for preschool age children in a nurturing and supportive environment. Encourage children to explore and take risks while also maintaining control and safety. This person will carry out the lesson plans and activities set forth by the lead teacher, but may also provide input and ideas of ones own. This person will be responsible for taking children outside on a daily basis, providing snack, packing up their belongings to return home, and some cleaning.
Requirements
Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and be willing to take the Fundamentals of Early Childhood Education 45 hour course within the first year of hire.
Nice To Haves
Experience and college credits are a plus! CPR/1st aid certification is a plus!
