Role Overview
We are looking for a Manufacturing Technical Coordinator to assist with semiconductor integrated circuit (IC) sorting tasks in a sophisticated production facility. You will be tasked with managing sensitive wafers and chips, running semi-automated sorting machinery, upholding rigorous quality benchmarks, and providing essential support for both R&D and production efforts for our diverse clientele.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA 95403 (Onsite at a premier electronic testing firm)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours weekly for a 24-month duration
Core Duties

Configure and manage semi-automated sorting systems to ensure integrated circuits are processed precisely per engineering guidelines.

Safeguard product integrity by handling fragile wafers and chips in strict alignment with ESD and safety protocols to help maintain a reliable production output.

Review technical documentation and hardware specifications to facilitate accurate visual inspections and equipment operation.

Work alongside cross-functional teams and engineers to address operational challenges and ensure development goals are met through clear communication.

Support overall operational efficiency by mastering new workflows and contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the facility.
Required Qualifications

Background in technical production, cleanroom operations, electronics, or semiconductor manufacturing.

Capacity to adhere to precise manufacturing instructions while working in ESD-sensitive areas.

Proven skill in managing delicate components or precision materials like chips and wafers to minimize waste and damage.

Aptitude for reading and applying complex technical manuals and equipment procedures.

Competency in basic computer operations and Microsoft Office software.

Prior exposure to IC sorting, semiconductor fabrication, or visual inspection techniques is highly desirable.

Familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts or continuous improvement methodologies is considered an asset.
Work Schedule

Night Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
