Summary
As an IONM Specialist (CNIM), you will be integral to patient care in neurocritical settings, utilizing your expertise in neurophysiology and medical terminology. Reporting to the clinical team, you will conduct diagnostic evaluations and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your core skills in anatomy knowledge and physiology will be essential, while your premium skill in IONM will enhance diagnostic capabilities. With strong communication skills, you will collaborate effectively within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center, contributing to surgical medical team and patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced IONM for spine and neuro surgical cases.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers and operating room personnel to provide the highest quality of patient care.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques, including CT scans, to assist in patient diagnosis and care.
- Maintain clear communication with healthcare professionals and patients to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Uphold medical terminology standards and adhere to safety protocols in all procedures.
