EXPERIENCE: 2 or more years' experience supporting families and/or leading community work. Demonstrated experience working with multiple systems to include school district, youth, family, and community resources. Experience advocating for/with historically marginalized populations and groups and supporting their needs. Knowledge of and commitment to learn about federal, state, and city immigration policies and legal resources for immigrants.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING: High School diploma or GED required. Additional college coursework in human services, social work, or psychology recommended. Training in Motivational Interviewing, Restorative Practices, Diversity/Equity, or QPR Training recommended.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be bilingual/biliterate in Spanish and in English and demonstrate oral language proficiency in Spanish and English through a standardized assessment, recognized credential, certificate or upon a Jeffco assessment.
Requires oral communication, basic writing, interpersonal, phone etiquette, and computer and office software, general office equipment at time of hire. Have the ability to interact well with parents, students school/district staff, and outside agencies. Requires high level of training in area of specialty. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
