About the Role
As an Assistant Lead Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our communities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll support the Lead Maintenance Technician, help guide the team, and step into a leadership role when needed.
This is not just a maintenance job—it’s a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, teamwork, and delivering top-tier service.
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve service requests efficiently
- Assist with apartment make-readies and inspections
- Support preventative maintenance programs
- Maintain tools, inventory, and maintenance records
- Identify and correct safety hazards across the property
- Help lead and coordinate the maintenance team
- Ensure high standards for move-ins and overall property condition

Requirements:
- EPA certification (required)
- 1–2+ years of maintenance experience (multi-family preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and work on your feet
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions
- Frequent physical activity including lifting, climbing, and bending
- Occasional on-call responsibilities

- Must be willing to relocate prior to start (if applicable)
