We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard our facilities, assets, and personnel. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, effective conflict management, and prompt response to incidents. Your dedication will ensure the safety of everyone on site while upholding the highest standards of security protocols. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety, identify hazards, and prevent theft or vandalism.
- Manage access control by verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR, conflicts, or security threats.
- Enforce security policies and procedures while managing conflicts with professionalism and tact.
- Walking around and scanning checkpoints inside the facility
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records for accountability and future reference.
- Once inside the facility, you may not leave. A bathroom, and a place to sit will be available.
Qualifications
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with security protocols including access control procedures and emergency response plans.
- Ability to perform physical duties such as patrolling premises on foot or in a vehicle for extended periods.
