About the Role:
The Market Specialist is committed to meeting targets, actively striving to exceed expectations, and fostering business growth. The Market Specialist exhibits strong business acumen, exceptional selling skills, profound product knowledge, and a proven track record of sales success. We seek high-energy, passionate candidates, with exceptional customer service skills that will proudly represent Dr. Diamond’s Metacine to the retailers and consumers.
Weekly Hours: Part-time, 20-24 hours per week
Work Location: In person - SF, South Bay, San Jose CA
Sales & Territory Management
- Sales: Drive sales by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including product demonstrations, resolving inquiries, and addressing complaints.
- Sales Targets: Achieve individual and team sales targets per week, month and year.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain attractive and organized product displays.
- Inventory Management: Ensure inventory levels are adequate and manage product flow.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on the latest beauty and skincare trends and product offerings.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business.
Education & Events
- Promote brand awareness that aligns with companies marketing strategies.
- Conduct on-the-job training and product education adhering to the retailer expectation.
- Manage Gratis incentives to key players and distribute for scheduled training.
- Schedule events that align with retailer calendars to increase sales and build brand awareness.
Relationship Management
- Develop collaborative partnerships with retailers, brand ambassadors/sales associates, counter managers, and corporate teams.
- Communicate with your Account Coordinators regularly during weekly syncs and ongoing communication to discuss business opportunities, stock, events, competitive information, education opportunities and anything pertaining to your territory.
- Partner with store and corporate management teams, discussing business opportunities, concerns, and sales promotions to ensure sales goal achievement.
- Partner with the Retail management teams to negotiate space and ensure successful in-store visual execution consistently following brand and store guidelines.
- Support and train freelance beauty advisors to achieve sales goals.
