About Next Level Athletics
Next Level Athletics is a serious athlete performance company in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We train youth, high school, and college athletes in speed development, jump mechanics, force production, strength, and power. We are not a general fitness gym. We are not a babysitting service disguised as sports training. We develop athletes through real coaching, technical progressions, and a standard that is visible in every session.
What this job actually is
You will coach groups of athletes aged 8 to 18 through structured performance sessions. That means you are responsible for the energy in the room, the quality of every rep, the corrections athletes receive, and the perception parents walk away with. You will follow a session structure, teach movement progressively, and raise the standard of every athlete in front of you.
This is not a job where you set up cones and watch athletes go through circuits. You will be coaching every minute of every session.
What we are looking for
- A background in exercise science, kinesiology, sports performance, or competitive athletics (not manditory)
- High energy and the ability to coach athletes with urgency, clarity, and confidence
- The ability to teach movement — not just demonstrate it
- Comfort working with youth and teen athletes across multiple sports
- A mindset that values quality reps over busy reps
- Willingness to learn, be corrected, and grow inside a high standard environment
What will disqualify you
- You think a good session means athletes are tired at the end
- You are passive on the floor and prefer to observe rather than coach
- You are not coachable or open to feedback
- You have low energy in a group setting
What you will get
- A coaching environment built on real performance principles, not random intensity
- Weekly trainer workshops that will sharpen your knowledge of exercise science and athlete development
- A culture that takes coaching seriously and invests in its staff
- The opportunity to grow inside a company with real standards and a long term vision
