FULL TIME POLICE OFFICER
The Newmarket, NH Police Department is looking to hire a full-time police officer. Certified police officers will be given preference, and pay is commensurate with experience. Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, be U.S. citizens and possess a valid driver’s license. Candidates must also possess a high school diploma; college and/or military experience preferred.
The selected candidate must successfully complete a physical agility examination, oral board examination, extensive background examination, polygraph examination, psychological examination, medical examination, in-service training and one-year probationary period. A non-certified candidate must successfully complete the full-time police academy.
