Oakland Pallet Co inc. is looking for a Class A Driver to join our team and assist in our corporate headquarters located in San Lorenzo.
Oakland Pallet Co., Inc., was established in 1987, and is a privately owned and operated business. Oakland Pallet Corporate Headquarters, and principal production facility, is in San Lorenzo, California, located in the heart of the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. We staff over 200 employees throughout California, with multiple facilities to better service our customer’s needs. Our customer base is made up of many Industries including wineries, tech, food & beverage, major D.C.'s, and a variety of manufacturing companies throughout California.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of trucks including , tractor-trailer, flatbed, and dump truck
- Load and unload cargo following proper procedures
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members
**Requirements:**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A (double endorsement required)
- Clean Driving Record
- Proven experience in commercial driving
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts for loading/unloading tasks
- Familiarity with different truck types and their specific requirements
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Required 18 months of driving experience
- Mon thru Fri, with occasional Saturdays
