Position - Preschool Teacher Assistant
Brown School, an independent school located in Schenectady, NY is searching for a preschool teacher assistant.

Teacher assistants work closely and cooperatively with the lead teacher

Assist and monitor children during snack and lunch times

Engage with children during free-exploration activities

Help maintain a safe, clean, stimulating and visually appealing learning environment

Display a commitment to diversity and creating a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging in approach to teaching and learning, as they are recognized and valued by Brown School
Qualifications

An associate’s degree, in early childhood education, is preferred

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Positive and effective management skills

Experience working with preschool children in a classroom setting
