Overview
TownePlace Suites & Fairfield Inn & Suites Surprise is seeking an energetic and dependable Breakfast Attendant to create an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests. This role is responsible for setting up and maintaining our complimentary breakfast buffet, preparing food items, ensuring cleanliness and food safety standards, and providing friendly guest service. The ideal candidate enjoys early mornings, takes pride in presentation, and thrives in a hospitality-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the complimentary breakfast buffet according to brand standards.
- Prepare and replenish breakfast items throughout service to ensure a fresh and appealing presentation.
- Operate breakfast equipment, including coffee machines, toasters, waffle makers, and microwaves.
- Monitor breakfast inventory and place supply orders as needed based on business levels and inventory counts.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Keep the breakfast area, kitchen, dining area, and storage rooms clean and organized.
- Restock food, beverages, condiments, utensils, and supplies throughout the shift.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and promptly assist with requests.
- Complete opening and closing duties to ensure readiness for the following day's service.
- Report equipment concerns, maintenance issues, or low inventory levels to management.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel, food service, hospitality, or breakfast attendant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
