ActivCare Laguna Hills provides specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. This role is essential in ensuring our community remains clean, safe, and comfortable for both residents and staff.
Position: Housekeeper / Janitor (Dual Role)
Schedule: Friday–Monday (Full-Time)
Friday/Saturday – Housekeeping | Sunday/Monday – Janitorial
Pay: $20/hour

Role Overview:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, and community spaces.
Complete daily housekeeping tasks including room resets, trash removal, and linen management.
Perform janitorial duties such as floor care, deep cleaning, and upkeep of shared spaces.
Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, carpet cleaners, and other tools safely and effectively.
Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Work collaboratively with team members to maintain high community standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Dependable and consistent attendance is required.
Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience in healthcare, hospitality, or senior living preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Comfortable working in a senior care environment.
Ability to follow direction and complete tasks efficiently.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Safety-focused mindset with awareness of surroundings and resident needs.
Additional Requirements:
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must successfully complete a background check and English proficiency exam.
