Job Summary:
We are seeking a Meat preparer/BBQ Pit member to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and carving various cuts of meat to meet customer specifications. Your attention to detail will ensure that our customers receive high-quality and visually appealing meat products. We are also looking for someone to work in the BBQ Pit.
We offer PTO, flexible hours, and benefits--including time and a quarter on Sundays! Experience is a plus, but not necessary. Come join our great team today!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare gourmet meats
- Ensure that all meat products are sliced, trimmed, and portioned according to customer requests
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the meat carving area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding any shortages or quality issues
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and assisting customers with their meat selection
Qualifications:
- Ability to handle sharp tools safely
- Attention to detail to ensure precise portioning and presentation of meat products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Note: This position may require standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift heavy objects.
