We are looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor / Licensed Marriage Family Therapist to join our team in providing mental health support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability Disorders, and to those that suffer from cognitive impairment and severe mental illness. You will be part of our psychosocial rehabilitation and behavioral treatment programs, working alongside Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) and Qualified Mental Health Associates (QMHA), in providing rehabilitative services to benefit individuals with noted maladaptive behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate clients’ emotional, mental, behavioral, or social needs
- Conduct intakes and assessments, gathering information on client history, maladaptive behaviors, long-term moods, and needs
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy
- Provide detailed documentation of progress and remarkable incidents
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs
- Maintain updated knowledge of developments in the field through continuing education
- And professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Licensed in the State of Nevada
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
