Residential Real Estate Paralegal

As a Residential Real Estate Paralegal, you will play an integral role in facilitating real estate transactions from start to finish. You will work closely with attorneys, lenders, title insurance companies, and clients to ensure transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous paralegal experience, preferably in residential real estate and/or lending
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- The ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review purchase and sale contracts, title commitments, surveys, and exception documents
- Review mortgage commitment letters and lender-prepared loan documents
- Prepare real estate closing documents, including deeds, closing statements, affidavits, and other transfer or title documents
- Proofread documents for accuracy and consistency
- Coordinate with title companies regarding recording requirements and deadlines
- Draft professional correspondence to clients, attorneys, lenders, and title companies
- Schedule real estate closings with all parties involved
- Handle funding, disbursements, and post-closing responsibilities, including tracking escrows, issuing 1099-S forms, and obtaining final title policies

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
